I’d bought Lady Jessica’s loop file intending to play it while I doze (not that I have time to take many naps) or as background when doing chores or other mindless (heh) tasks. Trance For Me is a very gentle and pleasant ride, not overtly sexual but certainly seductive.
Yesterday I tried something new. I’m in training for an event later this year, and as part of that I’ve started running longer distances. I was curious whether Trance For Me might make a good companion, and whether the run would be any different when not listening to my usual playlist of upbeat songs. I set it on repeat and heard the full track close to five times during the jog.
Running is fairly trance-like to begin with, so it was very easy to just listen without thoughts of my own intruding. Surprisingly, my pace wasn’t any slower without the beat of the songs. I finished the run feeling strong and happy. All in all a delightful experience, and I’ll be sure to have Lady Jessica along on future jaunts.
